Smoke Alarm/Electrical Compliance

Power Property Solutions

It is a requirement that all properties are fitted with smoke alarms. The number of alarms and positioning of each alarm will vary from state to state as prescribed under the builder code of Australia and in accordance with Australian Standards.

Electrical safety requirements vary from state to state. Whether a property is to be purchased as an investment and falls under the residential tenancy requirement or sold for private use, a general electrical inspection should be conducted to ensure it is electrically safe, including but not limited to smoke alarms, safety switches, exposed or dangerous wiring.

Services we provide include but are not limited to:

  • Smoke alarm testing/installation
  • Pre energization testing/reporting
  • Electrical inspection compliance/reporting
